1. Submit your application
   Start your LifeX application by clicking the Sign Up button. One simple form is all it takes — even if you're eyeing more than one home.
2. We review your application
   Once your application has been reviewed, we’ll get in touch with the next steps. This will include submitting your documents. A brief introductory call with our team may also be needed. Look out for emails from @joinlifex.com including checking spam or promotions folder
3. Next up: choosing your home
   Once your profile has been approved, you can select your preferred home, subject to availability. Our studios and apartments fill up quickly, so we recommend keeping an eye on the next-step email we send after you submit your application to higher the chances of getting the unit you want.
4. Sign your contract
   Once you’ve selected your home, you’ll receive your contract to review and sign.
5. Make your payment
   Complete the required payment to secure your booking after signing

Make sure you complete all the steps outlined above to give yourself the best chance of securing the home you’re interested in! Since our homes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis to verified applicants, completing these steps as early as possible gives you the best chance of securing your preferred home.

Not necessarily! If you’re ready to book right away and our team doesn’t feel a video call is necessary, one of our sales reps will send you the offer and all the next steps directly by email :)

Once our team has reviewed your application and documents, we’ll contact you by email to confirm whether your profile has been approved and share the next steps. A videocall may be requested by our team as part of the review process, but it is not mandatory unless we ask you to complete one.

If your profile has been approved, you’ll be able to select your preferred unit, subject to availability. Please note that availability cannot be guaranteed until you have completed the required steps and confirmed that you wish to proceed with the booking.

We use a key share box system, so you have the flexibility to move in when it fits you best. After signing the rental contract, you will receive an invitation to download our LifeX member app where you can fill in your arrival day and time, and reach out to our community support team to arrange your move-in.

Do you want to move in at short notice? Let us know and we will check when is the first possibility to move in.

Do you want to move in in the middle of the month? In general, our contracts start on the first of the month and end on the last day of the month. If you want to move in this month still, we have the possibility to prorate your first month, so you don't pay for the full month. Let us know what your plan is and we would be happy to discuss the options.

The advertised prices are all-inclusive, which means they do not only contain the rent but also all utilities, additional services like cleaning and maintenance, internet and housing taxes. You can find more details when you hover over "All bills included" or on the sign up page for each apartment under "Monthly Price."

We charge a deposit of 10.000 kr which will be refunded within 60 business days after your contract ends, if your room or apartment is in the same state as when you moved in.

Our minimum rental period is 3 months and you can stay as long as your want.

You may terminate your contract at any time with a minimum of one running month's notice. Our contracts always end on the last day of the month. For example, if you terminate your contract on May 31st, your lease will end on June 30th. If you terminate your contract on June 4th, your lease will end on July 31st.
You’re welcome to give longer notice if you already know your plans! (e.g. if your minimum stay is 6 months starting January 1st and you give notice in January, the earliest end date would be June 30th).

Our apartments are fully furnished and set up in a way that you can get settled and feel at home right away. You can expect the apartment to have the furniture and decorations as shown in the pictures.
