Start your LifeX application by clicking the Sign Up button under the Bedrooms tab. One simple form is all it takes — even if you're eyeing more than one home.

2. We review your application
Once we've reviewed it, we'll follow up with next steps by email. This will include submitting your documents and booking a short intro call with our team — both required to move forward. We may also reach out to clarify a few details. Keep an eye on your inbox (and spam/promotions folder) for emails from @joinlifex.com.

3. Next up: choosing your home
Once your documents have been approved and your intro call is complete, our team will share a selection of homes that match your preferences and availability. Homes can go quickly, so we recommend acting fast if you find one you love.

4. Sign your contract
Once you've chosen your home, we'll send your contract for a quick, easy online signature.

5. Secure your booking
Complete your payment, and your new home is officially yours.

Make sure to follow all the steps outlined above to increase your chances of securing the unit you’re interested in! Since units are offered first-come, first-served among verified applicants, completing your documents and call early gives you the best shot at the specific home you want.

The videocall — along with your documents — helps us understand what you're looking for and make sure LifeX is the right fit for you. It's also a chance to clarify any questions, walk you through the process, and confirm the details in your application.

Following your video call, our team will contact you by email to confirm the unit you’re interested in or recommend suitable alternatives. If you have not yet submitted your documents, please use this email as a prompt to send them to us. If your documents have already been submitted, simply reply to the email confirming your preferred unit, and we will proceed with preparing your contract.

Please note that availability cannot be guaranteed until your video call has been completed and you have confirmed with your representative that you wish to proceed with the booking.

We screen for the right fit. You choose the right space.

We don't match individual members to specific housemates. Instead, every applicant goes through the same document and call process, which helps us confirm they're a good fit for coliving — considering things like lifestyle and how they'll contribute to a shared home. This means you can trust that everyone in your home has been vetted the same way.

We use a key share box system, so you have the flexibility to move in when it fits you best. After signing the rental contract, you will receive an invitation to download our LifeX member app where you can fill in your arrival day and time, and reach out to our community support team to arrange your move-in.

Do you want to move in at short notice? Let us know and we will check when is the first possibility to move in.

Do you want to move in in the middle of the month? In general, our contracts start on the first of the month and end on the last day of the month. If you want to move in this month still, we have the possibility to prorate your first month, so you don't pay for the full month. Let us know what your plan is and we would be happy to discuss the options.

The advertised prices are all-inclusive, which means they do not only contain the rent but also all utilities, additional services like cleaning and maintenance, internet and housing taxes. You can find more details when you hover over "All bills included" or on the sign up page for each apartment under "Monthly Price."

We charge a deposit of 10.000 kr which will be refunded within 60 business days after your contract ends, if your room or apartment is in the same state as when you moved in.

The minimum rental period varies by apartment and typically ranges between 3 to 6 months and displayed on the apartment listings. If you have any questions, you can ask us directly at booking@joinlifex.com!

There is no maximum rental period and you can stay as long as your want.

For coliving units you may terminate your contract at any time with a minimum of one running month's notice. For studio apartments you can terminate your contract with a minimum of 2 months notice. Our contracts always end on the last day of the month. For example, if you terminate your coliving contract on June 4th, your lease will end on July 31st. If you terminate your studio apartment contract on June 4th, your lease will end on August 31st.
You’re welcome to give longer notice if you already know your plans! (e.g. if your minimum stay is 3 months starting January 1st and you give notice in January, the earliest end date would be March 31st).

Regular Service includes:
- Cleaning of the shared areas every two weeks

Service Plus includes:
- Cleaning of the shared areas once per week
- Cleaning supplies for the housekeeping

Our apartments are fully furnished and set up in a way that you can get settled and feel at home right away. You can expect the apartment to have the furniture and decorations as shown in the pictures.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer viewings due to the privacy of our existing tenant(s) and for logistical reasons. Part of the service that we provide, is the ease and comfort of living in a shared apartment, without having to worry about an empty room and finding new housemates. However, we can guarantee that all our apartments have the same high quality and the pictures and floor plans on the website give you a realistic idea of what you can expect.
