Home.Earth has chosen LifeX's property management system “Felix” to handle the lettings, administration, tenant communication and issues handling of its portfolio.
Felix is an end to end property management system developed by the Danish company LifeX. As one of the only systems on the market, Felix handles and automates virtually all the processes around letting, contract management, move-in and move-out, rent collection, tenant communication and task management. Felix also features both a tenant and an FM app. The completeness of the system and the ability to automate a number of processes and obtain data-based insights are precisely some of the things that, according to Rasmus Juul Nyholm, co-founder & partner in Home.Earth, have been decisive for Home.Earth's decision to choose Felix:
"There are now quite a number of good proptech solutions to handle the various parts of property management and FM. However, Felix is currently one of the only solutions on the market that handles and digitizes virtually all the processes from letting and move-ins and outs to rent collection, tenant communication and issues management in one system. At the same time, Felix is a software system that can integrate and exchange data with other propetch solutions and accounting systems, which makes it easy for us to access operational data. Finally, we found it advantageous that Felix already today can be used in several markets. Felix also has an advantage over other systems in that it works internationally and can therefore be used both in Denmark and virtually all other markets in the world. LifeX itself uses the system to manage tenancies in five different countries today. For Home.Earth, which has a clear international growth strategy, the system's international dimension has also been an important prerequisite.
LifeX has developed Felix in order to manage and operate the company's approximately 1,000 units in a modern and efficient way while keeping a strong tenant experience in focus. At the request of a number of existing partners, LifeX decided in late summer 2023 to offer Felix as a subscription-based software solution to external customers. Real Estate Director at LifeX, Jakob Stoumann, who also manages the selling of Felix, sees the collaboration with Home.Earth as an important seal of approval for Felix and a confirmation that there is still a need for better and more modern property management systems in the real estate industry:

Home.Earth owns and operates a number of buildings in Copenhagen today. In 2024, Home.Earth will open 158 new apartments in its groundbreaking residential project 'Nærheden' just outside Copenhagen, which is set to achieve an exceptionally low carbon footprint. Home.Earth plans to open around 2500 units in the coming 5 years including expansion outside of the Danish market.
In addition to Home.Earth, LifeX is in the process of implementing Felix for a number of other real estate companies in both Denmark and abroad.
