Think of our revenue as a pie. The largest slice—65%—goes to rent and utilities that we pay to landlords; we lease apartments on the open market just like everyone else. Another 10% is dedicated to services to keep homes running smoothly like cleaning, maintenance, and customer support.

We invest 2% in marketing to bring in new members, while 7% covers the administrative costs of operating a safe and reliable housing service. To create welcoming, fully furnished homes, 4% goes toward furniture, setup, and depreciation.

We also allocate 2% for deposit financing to keep members’ upfront costs low, and 7% to cover vacancies, so our members don't have to worry when rooms temporarily stand empty.

After all these expenses, what remains is a modest 3% net profit. This small margin allows us to operate sustainably, continue improving our homes, and maintain the high living standards our members rely on—without charging more than what it costs to provide quality shared living.
